Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP)
Redispersible polymer powder produced by spray-drying special water-based emulsion, mostly based on vinyl acetate and ethylene. It dissolves in water easily and quickly forms emulsion.
They combine the functionality of polymer dispersions with the processing advantages of a powder. As co-binders in cementitious dry mortars, dispersible polymer powders provide improved adhesion, flexibility and processability as well as, depending on the grade, extra properties, such as, outstanding flow properties and waterproof property.
